The Marines assigned to the 7th Carrier Strike Group consist of Hunter Company, of which Renegade Platoon is currently operational. These Marines hail from the 42nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) which works in partnership with the 7th Carrier Strike Group.
The responsibility of the Marines is diverse, but key tasks include General Duties (training, logistics, work parties), Fleet Protection (guard, security, anti-boarding), Patrols (Recce, Combat, Standing) and Combat Operations (Raids, Deliberate Attacks, Boarding Parties, etc).
Renegade Platoon's training takes Recruits and turns them into combat-ready Marines, and continuation training provides them with Pathfinder status (Recon Marines). These Recon Marines can specialize in a wealth of combat and combat service support specializations. An example of some of these are given below.
